Noa Peled is an Israeli singer / songwriter, from Tel Aviv, Israel.

With great love for Brazilian music and the Portuguese language along the last 20 years, she translates the beautiful sambas of Brazil into Hebrew, singing in both languages. In her repertoire there are also Bossa Nova, Forró, Chorinho, Fado, Reggae, Afro Brazilian styles, spiritual songs, and original music.

Her first self-produced solo album, “20:13”, recorded in São Paulo / Tel Aviv, released in 2013, featuring touching interpretations for Brazilian classics, has won enthusiastic audience in both countries and around the world. This album contains 13 songs, and was created in cooperation with 20 great artists. Israel’s major radio stations broadcast its hits.

Noa performs in Israel and Brazil since 2006. She cooperates with first class musicians who share the passion for high quality Brazilian music, such as Gian Correa, Luiz Guello, Henrique Araújo, João Borba, Caito Marcondes, Carioca Freitas, Daniel Velloso, Daniel Ring, Nir Steinberg, Gabriel Marques, Ben Aylon, Salit Lahav, Paulinho Ferreira and more. She had performed in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Recife, Brasília, and all around Israel.

Noa connects between different worlds. The sweet vibration of her Portuguese opens the heart. Along with the Hebrew and the different rhythms played – merge together the tropical and the Middle Eastern, the personal and the universal, sadness and joy, sacred and daily life, all to one rich celebration of sounds.

Nowadays Noa writes original music, with Hebrew, Brazilian, African and Classical influences, and continues to translate songs in both directions.

She leads three different groups in Israel:

Noa Peled group – featuring 7 string guitar, Cavaquinho, Afro-Brazilian percussion, and special guests, performs her show: “Hebrew Samba” and her new show, soon to be launched: “Bossa Noa”.

Brasil for All – featuring accordion, triangle, bass and percussion, plays Forró music for couple dances, along with a Forró dance lesson before the party. A  colorful brazilian tradition with contemporary Israeli flavor.

Duo Mundo – featuring 7 string guitar, a feminine and a masculine voice, playing Bossa Nova, samba and MPB, together with original songs and translations.

Noa is a self-made artist, combining her art with being an ambassador of the new world: through sound she brings messages of light, empowerment, faith, emotional healing and transformation. Her aim is to create a bridges between cultures. She dreams and acts to create inner and world peace through music. Her background contains ecological design and urban gardening (Permaculture), alternative education for kids (The “Light Kids”), combined with spiritualism and teaching the Mayan Wisdom.

Her album “20:13” is named after the Tzolkin Mayan calendar code, consisting of 20 waves, each of them lasting 13 days. This is a sacred geometry which reminds us systematically how to reveal our own purpose in life, and how to transform, as a collective, to a society based on new information, truth, abundance, cooperation, love and joy of life. This wisdom suggests that in 2013, humanity had started to shift from “Time is Money” into “Time is Art” consciousness.
